a-Touch is a very cost-effective and reliable technology that features an internet-enabled touch- screen PC supplied without a keyboard or mouse, ideal for hospitality environments, Hotel guests can use the browser style buttons to navigate around the system, although a screen keyboard can be used when necessary.

The technology comes in different form factors depending on location of the terminal and space restrictions. Ruggedised panel PC sizes currently supported are 16cm, 21cm and 26cm. It is wall mounted and secured with no visible cabling. The casing is designed to be tamper proof preventing any abuse.

The desktop version is based on the 15.6” touch screen PC called Eee from ASUS available in white (Apple MacBook^tm look and feel) or black.

Our solutions handle a wide variety of content such as the web, audio & video. It can be integrated into existing technology infrastructures such as video distribution systems, ePOS, online & real-time booking and reservation engines, mobile telephony etc if required.

The a-Touch interface can be tightly integrated into a variety of applications and systems such as hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) systems, online grocery portals like Tesco, Occado, etc. Bespoke integration is also possible such as online taxi ordering services, parcel delivery and tracking, re-ordering of medicines from local pharmacies, browsing local restaurant menus and special offers, ordering of take away foods delivered directly to customer’s door.

For the hospitality sector, in the future it will be possible to offer 3rd party payment integration – for example purchase external good and services and charge to a hotel room as well as offering the chance to pay using home currency using dynamic currency conversion.

The a-Touch technology can be programmed to switch off at a specified time for energy saving efficiencies in order to provide a more environmentally friendly service. Almost all of the touch screen PC maintenance can be performed remotely and out of hours using our highly trained and skilled staff. The a-Touch service is delivered using an off-shore hosted environment operated on a 24x7 basis, 365 days a year.
